Our stay at Heahtitude was perfect for our leisure trip. The hosts were friendly and responsive, providing us with a comprehensive folder of activities and eateries within walking distance. The atmosphere within the hostel was great, with friendly guests and helpful hosts. The English-speaking staff made communication easy. Fresh baking in the morning was a nice touch, and the retro decor added to the cozy and clean atmosphere. The private shed out back provided enough space and privacy. The deck offered beautiful views of sunrises, and the surrounding area was peaceful and relaxing. a great choice for a leisure trip.
Would recommend this hotel.

I recently had a wonderful stay at a charming hotel near a river in Cameron Highlands. The hotel staff were extremely helpful and friendly, going out of their way to make my stay enjoyable. The rooms were beautifully decorated in a traditional style, giving a cozy and homely atmosphere. I also loved the attention to detail, with lots of vintage antiques that brought back childhood memories. Additionally, the hotel's location next to the river and close to nature provided a peaceful and serene environment.
All in all, my stay at this hotel was absolutely perfect.

Nestled in the heart of a peaceful nature retreat, this hotel is sure to impress. the tranquil sound of the nearby river provides a soothing background noise at night. Located near stunning natural attractions, it's perfect for those seeking an authentic experience back to nature. Rooms are well-equipped, with a functioning water heater in the bathroom. On top of that, the vintage design of the hotel and its patio creates a comfortable and inviting atmosphere.
The walls in the hostel are not until the ceiling, meaning that noise can be heard from neighbouring guests.

Staying at Heahtitude - Children Not Allowed was an exceptional experience. The natural river sound provided a perfect nature ambiance, and the room near the patio even came with earplugs for a peaceful night's sleep. The cozy kitchen was a nice touch, offering free coffee, tea, and filtered water. The host's recommendations for eateries and tour guides in the small village were very thoughtful.
Although the allocated car park was steep, street parking was available as an alternative. Additionally, the rooms had a gap between the wall and ceiling, which affected privacy and allowed for some noise from other guests.

The hotel's attention to detail in preserving its traditional style truly stood out. From the cozy rooms adorned with historic photos and old school tools, to the personal lounge area with a picturesque view of the hills, every corner exuded character and comfort. Additionally, the hotel's location, though remote, offered a peaceful atmosphere, perfect for a tranquil getaway. The nearby tea plantation was easily accessible, allowing for an enjoyable hike amidst breathtaking scenery. Not to mention, the friendly staff went above and beyond to ensure a pleasant stay. I was even treated to an upgrade! The shower was a highlight, and the breakfast provided a delightful start to the day.
No major issues, everything was satisfactory.

During our Christmas stay, we enjoyed the typical kampung style of the hostel. the availability of free snacks all day was a nice touch. we loved the backyard area that faced the river and farm. the location was conveniently close to Tringkap, and we were able to easily explore the surrounding areas.
We were somewhat disappointed with the room descriptions, which were a bit misleading. Two of the rooms clearly stated that they had shared bathrooms, but the other two we booked did not mention this, which was frustrating.
